By about three your shoes start working against you

Mack is built the other way round: a wide toe box where your toes can sit apart, and a sole that rolls with your stride instead of working against it.
What a narrow shoe does to your foot
On the left, the pressure points that build up when your foot is pushed inward all day. On the right, what happens when your toes keep their room and your arch gets support: the load spreads instead of stacking up.
How the sole flexes
The outsole is split into segments rather than one stiff plate. Your foot rolls through the way it naturally does, so your calves have less correcting to do. On a long day you notice it.

Most smart shoes taper to a point, which pushes your toes inward. Mack keeps the toe box wide. Your toes stay where they belong, even after a day on your feet.
Knitted upper with no seams that cut in
The upper is knitted in one piece rather than stitched from panels. No seams where your foot is widest. The material stretches where it needs to and holds its shape where it must — which is why there's no breaking-in period.
Breathable, even in the heat
The knit lets air through, so your feet stay drier than in a closed leather shoe. Good at the office, good on the move.
Doesn't look like a comfort shoe
The leather detailing at the heel and the lace opening give it a smart shape. Under chinos or jeans nobody can tell you chose for your feet. That's the point.

White, black, olive, brown, caramel and blue if you want a tone. Double black, blue-black and brown-black for a darker sole. Every colour has its own photos, so you see exactly what you're getting.
