Woven leather that moves
The straps are woven rather than cut in one piece, so they flex where your foot flexes instead of pressing a line into it.
Closed toe, open sides
Your toes stay covered and protected, but the woven sides let the air through. Neat enough for lunch, cool enough for the walk there.
Slingback with a buckle
One small buckle at the heel, so you set it once to your foot and forget about it. No elastic that stretches out by summer's end.
Low stacked heel
Just enough lift to keep you off the pavement, low enough to walk properly. The sole is flat underfoot, not sloped.
